We don't even know what to make of the antibodies:- how long do they last - how effective are they - do they protect against all strains or mutations of the virus, of which there are now at least 8. There are 2 categories of vaccines under testing. One is RNA based, the other is not. One vax has already shown to have neurological side effects, and is probably back to the drawing board. One category has to be stored at Minus 70C temperature. It is not the type of thing you will get at the RiteAid pharmacy counter. Only 39% of the public has confidence is such a vax. Part of that is Trump politicization of the process, that he is too stupid to respect science in general, says it coulc be out by Nov 1, when Redfield just said it is unlikely until to even start next June or July. |
