Some say you need 60%. Others say 80-90% to reach "herd immunity".Back when you could get accurate information, it barely hit 20-25% of the population. And even that I question. The Media tells me it mostly hit the Bronx, and maybe Brooklyn. Everyone who could left the city and never even hung around. If 20-25% was enough for herd immunity, then Spain and France, which used hockey rinks to store corpses fyi, wouldn't be having a second wave with higher infections today than back in March. Sorry. Lot of people want to yell that there's herd immunity in NY because they had a bad time. But that was the tip. |
