It has been stated it was a "no knock" warrant. The biggest problem the city had (and again I have no thought on whether it was true or not) was that falsified information was used to obtain the warrant. That may be the reason why the city settled with the family already. The officers at the scene would very likely be unaware of that if it were the case, and have not been charged.. However, some higher ups may be in a heap, if that proves out. |
