I brought this up so that some forum members don't assume that I report only good news.New Zealand illustrates the response to minimize Covid's spread. Their response to an isolated case illustrates what's required for that approach. It's possible to get down to 0 cases, without testing, effective treatment, or an effective vaccine. New Zealand and a few other countries have illustrated this. The problem is that the population is still susceptible to Covid should it be re-introduced. Handling that re-introduction has to be part of the plan. It will be interesting to see whether New Zealand's approach will limit Covid to a small cluster. |
