I wasn’t always able to. I remember sitting across the table from my wife. New mortgage, recently lost job and we had the discussion..who do we pay this month? And we decided the mortgage comes first no matter what. We could live on franks and beans if we had to but first and foremost we needed a roof over our heads. That discussion happened 47 years ago. That philosophy has gotten me where I am today. Not rich, but comfortably in the black. No bailouts, no moratoriums, no unemployment. And no apologies. |
