The purpose of the training should be to make you overcome one's reflexive fear that one's life is in imminent danger at every single provocation

Must be good living under that rock of yours.

Norway's police undergo 3 years or 156 weeks of training before they start full time

Oh boy. Keep comparing apples and oranges.
