Incorrect. I sided against two people (I could care less about their gender or race) who violated WMATA's rules about eating and drinking on board the transit system who chose to ignore warnings to cease and desist. There are numerous good reasons to not permit the consumption of food or drink on Metro and other transit systems. Just because you (or these other people) don't like the rule doesn't mean you can violate it without potential consequences.As demonstrated throughout this thread and many others over many years, it is clear that Salaam does not approach the legal system in any manner that resembles common sensibilities. Yes, there are illogical and unjust laws on the books, but the way Salaam "advocates" that these be addressed is to ignore them at will and assume racist motivations if caught. It is frankly disgusting IMO and does nothing to promote a more just society. |
