The difference is that OJ was given a fair and square trial, and was acquitted by a jury.

In the Ayers case, the government broke every investigative rule in the book in their frenzy to put Ayers man in federal prison. There was no trial.

If there was "reasonable proof" of Ayers' guilt, then the FBI should have been able to build a case against him by the book, without difficulty.
