The Constitution does more than prohibit a government from establishing a state religion. With the free exercise clause it also prohibits the favoring of religion over non-religion and vice versa. Not all religions find Zoom or the like acceptable. Some require a certain minimum number of people in one location. It definitely is a question whether the laws are narrowly tailored especially when it comes to “drive in” services where appropriate precautions are taking place. |
