The latest study from University of Washington is in line with what the politicians are saying, which is that there will be enough when the times comes:The analysis also highlights the strain that will be placed on hospitals. At the epidemic's peak, sick patients could exceed the number of available hospital beds by 64,000 and could require the use of around 20,000 ventilators. Ventilators are already running short in hard-hit places like New York City. But Cuomo knows more than the scientist amirite? NYC needs 30,000 but the entire country needs 20,000? And this is not a fluff study, it is a doom and gloom one predicting 81,000 deaths. |
