By now I've seen a few New Yorkers who really don't have a good concept of how far 6 feet is. But most are pretty good about it.And the sidewalks here are VERY empty. On a typical 750 foot crosstown block, I may meet 2 people where we can pass each other with 6 feet of width, and one person where I might cross the street or go out into the street because the sidewalk happens to be too narrow just there. |
