I think that was wrong of them. They should have held to a consistent year for everyone - 2018. It is also a function of who just filed electronically, and who will file by paper in a month or so.

I am getting a refund this year, but had to pay last year and the year before. I can't be sure if I will get a direct deposit or a hard check. My accountant filed it this past Monday. I don't want to go to an ATM machine to deposit it.
