A definition of "kill" is "to commit murder."It was more than prosecutorial overreach, although that played a role. Florida has an expansive reading of the common law concept of "self defense." Without getting into "stand your ground" which was never alleged in this case, the possibility of danger from being slammed to the pavement even if Zimmerman caused the danger still entitles you to that defense in Florida. |
