That isn’t us being jealous, it’s them being braggarts. Also, one could argue that the first 18-22 don’t count when compared to an expansion team. Some of them haven’t even been around 27 years. If the D-Backs and Rays were people, they’re only just old enough to to drink. Though I would love to see any teams MLB might add pull a Golden Knights and curbstomp everyone. I’d be more than willing to bet if the Yankees had to do more work for their titles, if the post season in the original 16 era contained more rounds, there would be a lot fewer rings. |
