You’re using it to refer to “binary” women in this thread, so it has nothing to with that etymology. Using “Hispanic” avoids the issue entirely, but apparently that’s not PC enough for some reason (despite being more accurate), so why not “Latin?”

Speaking of its pronunciation, I thought it was pronounced with two syllables, similar to the way “Manx”* is pronounced with one.

*Sorry, I meant “Personx.”
