You don't have to be religious to consider aspects of the Bible to be relatively true.Many people who are not religious believe that there were people called Israelites who lived in and around Jerusalem, who built a temple, practiced their religion roughly as described in the Bible, and were defeated in a war with the Roman Empire 1949 years ago, which resulted in the destruction of the temple. |
