But given that she didn't actually recuse herself (despite the news media saying she did...FTR the news media said that she did because she announced that she was recusing herself. They didn't just make it up or somehow get it wrong as you seem to be implying. It came from her office. Out of an abundance of caution, the decision to recuse herself was made to address potential questions of impartiality based upon familiarity with potential witnesses in the case,” Foxx’s spokeswoman Tandra Simonton said on Feb. 20. |
