She's likely more mainstream when compared to voters than when compared to elected officials. Baby boomers have run the Democratic Party for the last few decades but millennials like AOC are taking over. She's very mainstream for a millennial in Los Angeles. Not so much for a baby boomer. I'm guessing NYC, Chicago, etc are the same. |
