In terms of policy, what difference is there between Trump Republican officials versus a traditional Republican official? They're like two horses pulling the cart in the same direction but at different speeds / levels of intensity.

Progressive versus traditional Democrat is a different story: they're like two horses pulling in opposite directions, eventually ripping the cart apart.
