Because you said President Trump would lose in 2016 (I know he lost the popular vote, but you had said popular and electoral vote) and the Republicans would lose the Senate in 2018 and neither happened. If anything, the Democrats LOST seats in the Senate in 2018. Right now there are candidates in the Democratic primary than can beat President Trump, but there are others thatw their nomination would guarantee a second term for President Trump. |
