People can end up on the edge financially for a large number of circumstances. I used to be in real estate, I know what the procedures are. And given we've recently seen some consumer level inflation of late, that further erodes the buying power of a paycheck. And can put someone in a precarious place when you're living paycheck to paycheck.Not getting a raise in the last, oh, eight years IIRC, can be the difference between meeting obligations vs. being on a financial edge. Long term inflation, yunno. |
