Foreclosure proceedings take a long time, depending upon the bank. Its not like you miss a payment or two & the marshall shows up at the door with an eviction notice. Any one who gets a foreclosure during this shut down was on thin ice beforehand. Like I said, its day to day expenses are going to be the most painful. The roof over their heads will still be there. "...these folks haven't seen a decent raise in a good number of years..." Lets get them their weekly paychecks back first, then worry about raises. |
