That is how the system works. Maybe if Hillary Clinton had run a better campaign rather than ignoring those states or taking the blue collar workers for granted she would be living in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue today. Unfortunately I do not see the Democrats learning from their errors in 2016. The Democrats need to stop indulging the Ocasio-Cortez wing of the party and go back to the Blue Dog Democrats that won them control.
