I already said Kavanaugh would be confirmed, and quoted my friend Brynn Tannehill on the reasons why. There isn't anything about his confirmation or the GOP's trashing of the process for their own political gain, that should make anyone proud of what happened.

The GOP held up Merrick Garland for almost a year, but rushed from hell to breakfast in getting Kavanaugh pushed through. Whatever that nonsense was, it damn sure wasn't democracy.
