Justices have a legacy based on the decisions they wrote, not the ones they merely provided a vote for. Thomas will forever go down as eccentric whose ideas could never win over a majority of the Supreme Court. You don’t even see other Justices citing his concurrences/dissents saying that you know something, we were wrong then and Clarence Thomas was correct. |
