I do want to clarify that this is my position if I were a Judge and that case was presented to me. It is not necessarily how I would act as a legislator. As a legislator if LGBTQIA want to be as unhappy in marriage as straight people who am I to complain in terms of civil marriage provided that no person or entity with a sincere religious conviction can be compelled to participate in the wedding. In the case of someone like Masterpiece Cakeshop, participation would mean if the couple wanted anything other than a stock cake off the shelf. |
