Well, none of the people who instituted welfare believe that. They've got you good. the projects were designed for the working-class Jewish Italian and Irish families that wasn't working poor at the time in New York City Public housing, really? Phew. The first housing project in the country was Garden Homes in Milwaukee, instituted by mayor Daniel Hoan, a socialist. Harold Ickes' public housing policies were strictly racially motivated. Never mind Section 8 and its attack on the family. |
