Big deal. My relatives started coming here in 1979. They assimilated and became Americans. They were neither tortured or sent to internment camps, despite being immigrants from an enemy country. They retain their culture and language to date but they never flew the flag of the country they left (which no longer exists). They are, after all, Americans. My family is not hyphenated. |
