C'mon, get real. One could argue that ABC acted quickly for the reasons they stated as well as avoiding backlash of not acting swiftly. NFL sure as hell caved to pressure. Sure, the players were on the job, but that certainly wasn't the issue. Obviously, them using their platform to protest, and others (with the POTUS as the ringleader) wanting to silence their actual reason for protesting pushed the bullshit narrative about disrespecting the flag and military. |
