Well... The NFL is the employer, and I don't recall them mentioning anything suggesting that they took issue with protesting on company time. These guys are protesting about police brutality and other injustices faced by people of color in this country. I'll be the first to admit that viewer ratings/attendance revenue are very important. That said, given something as serious as police brutality and the importance (to them and supporters) of getting the message out... Do you really think these guys would give a damn about your objection to them protesting? Especially when they're being as peaceful as one could be, not delaying the game and/or impacting the operation in any way. It's not for you or anyone else to tell them how and where they should be protesting. |
