I don't eat many eggs,I wonder if there's a relationship between political affiliation and diet? I don't eat bacon any more. I had a carotid artery scan that showed some very small plaques forming, and I happen to believe the folks who say that saturated fat will help those plaques grow. Hmmmmm. They're telling you what they're supposed to. I would do tell you the same. Truth is you have probably eaten far less saturated fat, and far more vegetable oil and grains over a lifetime, than you realize. That builds plaque. To reduce plaque, eat butter every single day. 1 TBSP will chip away the plaque. Besides, I didn't know you could raise bacon in a pasture. :) Subjunctive mood! Pastured pork is medicinal. The more we demonized bacon the fatter we got. In 1984 the MSM did another hit piece on bacon, and look at us now. We'd all be thinner had we stuck to bacon and eggs.  |
