According to another CNN story the men asked to use the bathroom and were told the bathroom was only for customers. This is the employees’ side of the story

Just as a point of reference, At the McDonald’s at 125th St. and Lexington Avenue you can’t use the bathroom unless you show the security guard a receipt that you bought something.
