The employees would potentially be able to corroborate that the men were there for some amount of time without purchasing anything, were asked to leave, and refused. Then that police were called and the men were asked to leave and again refused.That doesn’t mean that the men weren’t profiled and perhaps there were many people hanging around that didn’t buy anything. But it’s a business not a parkb bench. They should be able to reserve their seats for paying customers. It’s a weird situation for a Starbucks though. |
