Let's see: purposely alienating the few and far remaining middle and working class neighborhoods in the city who's residents are not his concern.

Turning his back to the members of the NYPD (after all, they are the "enemy")

Pushing the communist mantra down the cities throat, example, tax the middle and working and rich people so he can't give the poor people free money.
