GED dropouts often go on the college degrees. Getting a GED is harder than high school. Do not disparge people that work at turning their fortunes around.

Your reward is predicated on your salary, which was for a good amount of your career typically 30% higher than women in equivalent positions. It's only been about the past thirty years that equity got resolved in government employment contracts. It was just handled differently, in ways you likely never (based on your expressed attitudes about women and minorities) cared about.

The world does not revolve around you and every person who was victimized through years of discrimination has been held back. Acknowledge that simple fact for once in your undeservedly privileged life.
