The decline of fats in favor of carbs didn't help.I wonder to what extent the fact that children are more sedentary has an effect. If you become fat as a child you'll probably stay fat as an adult. The standard pastime for children used to be the playground and now it's computers and video games. This was already true back in the 1980s and most people were born after 1978. |
