LOL!Food, from postwar era was just as processed than it is now. Wonder Bread was a standard part of everyone's diet. Most meats were commercially produced, full of preservatives and even more were used in production. Few alternatively were available outside of agricultural regions. You RWer guys have the liberal hippies of the sixties and seventies for beginning the swing away from that. The big difference between now and then are increased consumption of soft drinks, and overall portion control. Portions are much much larger than they used to be. Far more sedentary lifestyles today are the second vector. |
