Is there an exception for medical needs? For example, a large minority of thyroid patients respond better on natural thyroid, which is refined from pork, heart valve transplants, blood thinners commonly used for patients with clotting issues especially pre and post surgery, and I'm sure much more (seems to be more and more practically evey day). Would be a shame to deny medical care on the basis of dietary rules, no? |
