The right does not want LGBT people to express there love and commitment to each other by getting married in the civil context. Nobody reasonable is forcing religious organizations to sanctify marriages religiously, but we are talking about civil marriage. Heterosexual couples can be married by Judges, Clerks, etc. so why not LGBT couples?Really? Then why did I not vote against gay marriage amendment in Florida back in 2008? I support civil marriage. The problem with LGBTQQI movement is the radical element like those who sued e-Harmony over nothing. And I'll bet most gays would like to force churches to marry them or lose tax exempt status. |
