The right does not want LGBT people to express there love and commitment to each other by getting married in the civil context. Nobody reasonable is forcing religious organizations to sanctify marriages religiously, but we are talking about civil marriage. Heterosexual couples can be married by Judges, Clerks, etc. so why not LGBT couples? |
