Why is it that in other fields people are perfectly fine with people who are in it for life. When you are sick, you go to a "career doctor." When you have a plumbing problem you go to a "career plumber." But when it comes to running OUR government, incompetence is valued.Although this fetishization of incompetence does extend to other fields. Witness the popularity of alternative medicine. |
