Correct, which is why I have a car mount for my phone and keep maps open. Many times traffic conditions changed and I was able to jump off the highway right before the delay.WhoA WHOA WHOA. That sounds very unsafe! Do you have your phone set up so that the screen never automatically shuts off, even when you're not using it? And how do you look ahead of where you are without touching the screen? Do you keep it zoomed way out? Does your maps app not snap back to your current location (some do, some don't)? Why would you want to have to manually interpret a traffic map when a navigation application (that takes real-time traffic conditions into account) could do it for you and verbally instruct you on how to proceed?!?!? |
