It does when you need to find the right line (i.e. the road you are on) and differentiate the colors for the two directions of that roadway. Then you also would want to look downstream and see the length and origin of any delays, as well as the cause. All the info is provided. All that info takes time to read. And then it takes a lot more time to process it and make a decision about whether you should divert or not, ans if you should, then where to? WAZE does all that for you. In milliseconds. And it redoes it constantly. Even if you're a pretty smart guy and a very good driver and very familiar with the local road system, how in the world do you think you could do all that manual work safely WHILE DRIVING, and at the same time come up with conclusions as good as, or better, than WAZE? I'll be the first to admit that I enjoy figuring things out on my own. Showing that I can get around on my own. But this is a no-brainer. There's no shame in using technology to help you be safer and more efficient. especially when that technology has a stellar track record as per my personal experience, the experience of others here, and the general consensus of the citizens of these here internets, AFAIK.
