Well, I downloaded WAZE and tried unsuccessfully to get it to work for a half hour. First I tried it inside my house where my internet connection was working properly and it told me I had to be outdoors to use the app. Then it took a picture of where I was standing and told me to enter my On my way! bed drive which I did. Then it said they will inform me when it was time for me to leave. I was scheduled to,leave in five minutes and it didn't inform me. So I had to start all over again and it said it couldn't connect me to the server. Then I finally just gave up.I also don't like why your phone must be connected your entire trip and you have to use mobile data. I was also unsure if they can monitor your location even when the app is off which made me uncomfortable. I could not get it to start giving me verbal instructions but at one point was able to see a map and it routed my entire trip along the BQE but at that time I wasn't ready to leave anyway. When I tried again later, it wouldn't work again so I just took Woodhaven and had no problems. |
