Tell ya what...try to live on a $15/hr. wage for a month, WITHOUT going into your savings or credit cards. Do it JUST on the roughly $500/wk paycheck you'd get after taxes for 35 hours. NO cutting corners. You have to pay all your bills at their current levels. No begging your landlord (or the bank, if you have a mortgage) for extra time. No skimping on meals. No selling MetroCard swipes...You'll discover reality very quickly. |
