But equally, when elections are being decided by razor thin margins, having that sort of percentage of partisan hacks indulging in personation, plural voting, absentee ballot abuse, casting votes on behalf of the dead or those who have moved away, fraudulent registrations of those who are ineligible to vote, and other forms of voter intimidation and fraud is significant There have been various studies in the US to indicate that the only significant voter fraud is by people who misrepresent their home address. That is, if they had bothered to register at their new address, everything would have been fine. People voting who are truly ineligible, or dead, are minimal. |
