What does that have to do with anything?Courts-Martial under the UCMJ do not currently include a charge of "terrorism" or "Acts of Terror". The Army would have needed to file a terrorism charge in another federal court. They chose not to. Even had the Hasan case been filed in another federal court, the word "terrorism" has several legal meanings apart from its general usage, and it's the narrower legal standards that count in court. You keep overlooking that fact. The same principal applies in the Colorado PP case. |
