And how do you know NY's standard exceed federal standards?How do you know your hospitals require both an anesthesiologist and CRNA to be in the OR at the same time throughout the surgery? It's common for the MD to check in during the surgery but to be there for the entire surgery? Think about it - that makes no sense. They'd need many more anesthesiologists and would have no need for CRNA's because the anesthesiologist doesn't need supervision. What are the 5 local hospitals in your area? |
