Yep. *MY* main issue with Nixon was the henchmen he surrounded himself with who only played into that in order to get their own yayas. When Reagan came in and brought in pretty much the SAME bunch of thugs, that's when I piped off the ship. Whilst Nixon was in there, I worked for the press and had to cover all that shit. I got to deal with a few of those folks and it REALLY pissed me off what scumbags they all were. When Reagan brought so many of them back in, that was the end. Reagan surrounded himself with the craziest of the crazies. :(But yeah, even including the opening up to China, that was all useful and good stuff. If ONLY it had taken its proper course instead of having it all hijacked by Wall Street for their OWN greed. Relax though, bro ... it ain't election year yet, but there's reasons for my shitty attitude. (grin) |
