So what if a Muslim supermarket checkout clerk refuses to handle pork? The store says, handle pork or you're fired. The clerk says no. The store says, OK, you can leave now. The clerk refuses to leave. The store has her arrested for trespassing.

So I guess you think the store is acting outrageously.
